Welcome to StatusLab (“App”, “we”, “our”, “us”), a video splitting and compression tool.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
1. Description of the App
StatusLab is a utility application designed to:
- Split videos into smaller segments
- Compress videos to reduce file size
- Prepare videos for sharing across platforms
The App is provided as a tool for convenience only. We do not guarantee that processed videos will meet the requirements of any third-party platform (including social media services).
2. No Guarantee of Functionality
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We make no guarantees that:
- The App will function without errors or interruptions
- Video compression or splitting will always succeed
- Output videos will be compatible with all devices or platforms
- Videos processed by the App will be accepted by social media platforms without additional compression or modification
You acknowledge that social media platforms may further compress, alter, or reject videos, and we are not responsible for such outcomes.
3. Subscriptions, One-Time Purchases & Payments
StatusLab may offer paid features through:
- Recurring subscriptions (e.g., monthly or yearly)
- One-time purchases (e.g., lifetime access)
Premium features may include, but are not limited to:
- Removal of advertisements
- Removal of watermarks
- Cleaner user experience
3.1 Billing
- All payments are processed through your app store account (e.g., Google Play or Apple App Store)
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Prices may change at any time, subject to platform rules
3.2 Lifetime Access (One-Time Purchase)
If you purchase a lifetime access plan:
- “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the App, not your lifetime
- Access will remain available only while the App is supported, maintained, and available on platforms
- We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue features at any time
3.3 No Refund Policy
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- All purchases (subscriptions and one-time purchases) are non-refundable
- No refunds will be issued for:
- Partial usage
- Unused time
- Dissatisfaction
- Feature changes
- App removal or service discontinuation
Any refunds, if applicable, are handled solely by the app store provider under their policies.
3.4 Platform & Termination Risks
You acknowledge that:
- App stores (e.g., Google Play, Apple App Store) may:
- Remove the App
- Suspend distribution
- Restrict access
- We may:
- Discontinue the App
- Stop updates or support
- Remove features
In such cases:
- Access to premium or lifetime features may be lost
- No refunds, compensation, or replacements will be provideds.
4. App Store & Platform Dependency
The availability of StatusLab depends on third-party platforms such as app stores.
We are not responsible if:
- The App is removed, suspended, or restricted by any app store
- Your access is terminated due to platform policies
- Features become unavailable due to external platform changes
In such cases:
- You may lose access to the App or its features without notice
- No refunds, compensation, or liability will be provided
5. User Responsibility
By using the App, you agree that:
- You own or have rights to all videos you process
- You will not use the App to process copyrighted, illegal, or unauthorized content
- You are solely responsible for how processed videos are used or shared
We do not monitor or verify user content.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Distribute illegal, harmful, or misleading content
- Abuse or exploit the App in unintended ways
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for misuse.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights related to the App, including:
- Source code
- Design
- Branding
- Features
remain the property of the developer (Antony Aiwin KX).
You may not:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App
- Create derivative works based on the App
8. Data & Device Security
The App may process videos and related data locally or through services as required.
You are responsible for:
- Securing your device
- Backing up your data
We are not responsible for:
- Data loss
- Corrupted files
- Device-related issues

These services operate under their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their behavior or data practices.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

- Rejection or modification of videos by social media platforms
- Loss of access due to app store actions
Use of the App is entirely at your own risk.
11. Termination

Upon termination:

- You must stop using the App

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Kerala, India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
